Roger Bruce ('65) Would later assist or head coach the Green River Wolves in football & basketball. Reputation as extremely tough hitter.

Junior Walton ('59): Team captain of '58 team. Reputation of being a good all-around football player. Later wrestled in college @ UW.

RB: Ronnie Hutchings was one awesome fullback

Te: Matt Peterson is one of the best that played in Evanston

Guard: John Porter, pound for pound the toughest on the team...just don't sneeze, you'll knock him over.

Tackle: Clint Taylor.

LB: How can anyone forget Kelly Guild, do they build them with more character?

WR: Nick Radney, that kid had wheels

This is strictly in my humble opinion of course. There are many that I have left off that deserves to be on here. Without a doubt, the two overall best REd Devil teams are the 1983 team and the 1985 team. Too close to call on who is better. Each had their strengths. I am proud to have grown up and been a part of such a proud program. I hope the current staff can bring back a little of the magic.
