Here's a place where posters can describe a memorable moment in Red Devil sports history. Maybe you were playing and you or a teammate, (or both) did something phenominal, or you could talk about a big-time upset you were involved in as a team or even from a fan's perspective - something you witnessed, as in the first time you watched someone at EHS slam-dunk in a high school game - whatever it is that you recall and would like to share.....

Here's one from the 1977 football season: I believe we were playing the Thermopolis Bobcats, and Senior Brad Mills knocked at least two players out of the game; it could have been three or four, but I do believe I recall a stretcher being utilized. This had nothing to do with dirty hits or anything unsportsmanlike - Brad was just that tough! No wonder no one wanted to go up against him in practice - even the seniors when Brad was a junior!

Here's another one...This is a copied and pasted version of a post I made answering another poster's query on http://wyoming.rivals.com: I would guess so, OlSlowPoke. In a game against Green River who is coached by Jaycee's Uncle Rick, (if anyone knew how to stop Jaycee, I would guess Rick would have the inside track, since he's watched him play all of Jaycee's life) Carroll had to start with underclassman, because of an incident on the bus that suspended one senior from playing at all and the other seniors had to sit out the first quarter, Jaycee Carroll scored 29 points in the first quarter, had 41 at the half and quietly finished with 57, not playing really at all in the 4th. Rick Carroll tried every gimmick defense and strategy he knew of, but to no avail. Carroll finished 14 of 16 from beyond the arc. Granted, this is against high school competition, but a performance like that, when he was being hacked and triple-teamed was simply unbelievable. The kid had to work his tail off just to get the ball! I remember Steve Core, the Voice of the Wolves, turning around and looking at me with an incredulous and bewildered expression on his face because he had never seen anything like it, either. Thanks for letting me relive that one! - http://www.grouchymarkproductions.builderspot.com

I have to say the 85 Girls Swim Team. We took state by 1 point! And, we weren't even involved in the final relay. We went to state with no coach. We came home just in time to see the Football team take state!
